The authentic voices of the internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Meskerem Mees and top soprano Lore Binon intertwine in a captivating cycle of pagan "light" songs, medieval and baroque Christmas melodies, as well as compositions spanning the 19th and 20th centuries, alongside Meskerem Mees' original works. Piano virtuoso and composer Jean-Luc Fafchamps crafts contemporary arrangements tailored to the ensemble's unique line-up, featuring folk guitar, violin, theorbo, lute, cimbalom, percussion, and a ‘prepared piano.’
