Living up to their name, the band draws inspiration from the Mississippi River, often referred to as the backbone of the United States. The river winds its way through 10 states, each with its own distinct cultural and migratory background. Flowing through the heartland of roots and Americana genres, the Mississippi River serves as a natural conduit, effortlessly merged by A Murder in Mississippi. Yet, let us not forget the river's sombre, sinister undercurrent. Across the Southern states, numerous unresolved murders haunt its banks...
