Jos Van Immerseel plays 18th century French harpsichord music. With works by Marchand, Couperin, Rameau, Forqueray, Balbastre … He performs on his own instrument, a replica of a 1714 Michael Mietke harpsichord.  

The programme includes various dances: not only the allemande, courante, sarabande and gigue, with a prelude. But also 'La Lugubre', 'La Poule' and 'L'Egyptienne'.   

Jos van Immerseel’s performances as a soloist enjoy universal acclaim. He is also scheduled to play Beethoven sonatas in the Lijsterbes community centre on Saturday, 22 October 2022.
